Candidates for a baccalaureate degree must fulfill the requirements for a major as listed in the courses of study bulletin. The courses of study bulletin is the official source of information regarding degree requirements, academic policies, and academic majors and minors at Trinity University.

Pathways Curriculum
-
Students must complete the Pathways Curriculum in order to receive a baccalaureate degree. The Pathways Curriculum has six curricular requirements, and three optional elements that provide the foundation in the liberal arts and sciences for all the bachelor’s degrees awarded by Trinity University. Through these requirements, students acquire the necessary skills and disciplinary perspectives to navigate complex questions at Trinity and in their post-graduate lives.
Drawing
Deal with 2-D and 3-D compositional problems, integrating the visual elements with aesthetic principles and an emphasis on creative solutions.
Twentieth-Century Architecture and Urbanism
Examine the architecture and urban development of Europe and the United States from the late eighteenth century to the twentieth century.
The Urban Experience
Receive an introduction to the city, its origins, contemporary form, and likely future. The course will present the city and urban phenomena in both the American context and other national environments.

Trinity’s campus was designed by O’Neil Ford, one of the most important Texas architects of the 20th century, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Architecture Travel Fellowship supports self-directed study of architecture anywhere in the world.
